The final three ideas myself and Megan have chosen are shown on a different blog post linked here- http://ferndisneyg324media.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/best-three-ideas.html
Digipak examples...
When researching ideas of digipaks, this happened to be one of my favorite ones because even though it is simple, I like the vibe that is given off, I like the mixed colours within the X. This has given be a few ideas on our digipak of our idea- when we come to finally choosing the song. Personally, I believe the dull surroundings then being joined by the colourful middle is really interesting.
This is another example of a simple yet bold digipak which I really like because of the different fonts of the song titles and then the colourful "paint-like" splats on the front covered with the title of "The Plastic Dots" which is plain in contrast with the background- something I really like.
"Foo Fighters" Digipak is another one which really caught my eye because of the bright colours. I believe the bright colours on half and dull on the other is really important and ties in very well with our ideas on teen behavior. My Rough cut example of a front cover....

A Magazine advertisement for the digipak...
This is an example of a magazine advertisement for an albums Digipak. I really like how bold and eye drawing this image is and how "basic" and plain the advertisement. This is very important because I wouldn't want too much writing taking away the focus of the main thing- the album of the music and of course the release dates and so forth. As shown by my choice of digipaks, I like plain surrounding with a colourful item within- I'm not sure yet whether I will have the object dead in the middle of off center, this would be an important factor when thinking about the magazine ad. because I wouldn't want it to be lost from focus and I want it to be eye drawing.
