Finding a favourite with people in my class...

1: 1-  like the hand drawn
    2. more nostalgic feel
    3. prefer font is aesthetic feel
    4. more simple and the second one looks too commercial so this one stands out more
    5. bottom one is too chunky- boring
    6. its more visually pleasing

2: 1- prefer this image better but the font with the above one is better

As shown above, there was a clear difference in the favourite logo which I created and therefore I have decided to use the top one. This is because it shows that my target audience are more pleased with this given logo.

However, as shown in this data gathering, there are only 7 respondents so I do not think this is as representative as I want it, therefore I have decided to use different social media platforms in order to create a wider representation of my target audience, this includes both Instagram and Facebook Messenger.

Therefore in the combining for both the data gained above and the data gathered from social media the results are...
For Logo 1- the record- 18

As when sending the questions through messenger, I deviated the order I sent the logos in so I will clarify above each answer what order I sent them. Furthermore, I thought it was important to ask for permission to use each respondents messages as I would have been screenshot a personal message.

As shown above, for all the votes I got on each logo, I ask the respondents to tell me why they prefer it and what they thought about it and as a whole I found this really useful and successful in revealing a more valid image of the viewpoint of the audience. 

For example, I have seen that the favourite logo is the heart record player logo but at the same time I was given parts to change to improve this logo. 

One respondent on Instagram told me that they prefer the heart record player one yet they believe the font would be better if I changed it, so therefore I will be improving the font- taking into account my feedback.
